He is survived by: his wife Mary Patrice Pete; his children, Oscar Pitre Dexter Shelvin (Elizabeth), Gejuan Pete Sr., Jeniece Johnson, Deniece Johnson and Alyssa Pete (Kegon); his siblings, Bertha Pitre of Port Barre, Edolia Thompson (Rodney), Priscilla Savoy, Calton Savoie, Barbara Savoy, Ramona Savoy, Anthony Savoy of Houston and Marvin Jackson of Lake Charles; and his grandchildren, Merceedez Pete, Morqwaisa Pete, Lasha Thomas, Braylen Johnson, Keoslan Thomas, Jayce Riser, Gejuan Pete Jr., D'Zya Senegal, Mylen Pete, Kegon Guillory Jr. and Arlyn Guillory.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Duhon Funeral Home Church (701 S Broadway St, Church Point, LA 70525). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
