He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas "Tommy" Lafosse, Sr. and Alberetta "Sally" Perghan Lafosse; his brother-in-law Herman Newton Bertrand; and his parents-in-law, Sterling and Nedia Leleux Bertrand.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Bertrand Lafosse of Church Point; his sons, Michael Jared Lafosse (Jennifer) of Metairie, LA and Koury "Smokey" Lafosse (Melissa) of Church Point; his grandchildren, Tori Venable (Allison) of Church Point and Cain Lafosse (Naomi) of Metairie; his great grandchild Carson Ray Venable; his goddaughter Heather Savoie Jarreau; and his siblings, Cynthia Bertrand of Moss Bluff, LA, Stephanie Savoie (Raymond) of Livonia, LA and T. J. Lafosse, Jr. (Yvonne) of Addis, LA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
