It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Keith Bergeron (Church Point, Louisiana), who passed away on December 21, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodney Bergeron and Elmire F. Bergeron; his godparents, Dale Verette and Faye B. Hebert; and his grandparents, Alton Bergeron, Sr., Claudia M. Bergeron, Leslie and Edna B. Faul.
He is survived by: his sisters, Greta B. (Ron Badeaux) of Broussard, Charlotte Bergeron of Sunset and Melanie B. Lanclos of Cankton; his godchild Dane'lle Huval of Lafayette; his niece Hailey Badeaux of Lafayette; and his nephews, Brad Melancon, Dustin Huval, Colby Bourque, Corey Mitchell Lanclos, Hunter Jude Lanclos and Cole Badeaux. He is also survived by fourteen great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Point Church (800 S Main St, Church Point, LA 70525). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
