He is survived by: his wife Betty Hanks of Church Point; his children, Jeffery Hanks and Kellie Hanks-Davis; his grandchildren, Dustin Hanks, Ryan Davis, Dalton Hanks, Wyatt Hanks and Ian Davis; and his sister Bernice Hanks-Martin.
