She was predeceased by: her husband Leo Brasseaux; her daughter Peggy Brasseaux; her daughter-in-law Laura Faye Brasseaux; and her siblings, Grace Gunnell, Loveless and Douglas Vincent.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Brasseaux of Basile and Juanita (John Brown) of Rayne; her adoptive son Joseph Brasseaux of New Iberia; her grandchildren, Ryan (Courtney Brasseaux), Alisha Brasseaux, McKae Cheramie, Devin Martin, Joslyn Brown, Jadyn Brown, Ashlyn Brown and Devon Brown; and her great grandchildren, Kyler Brasseaux, Hadlee Brasseaux, Drew Brasseaux and Reagan Oliver.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Duhon Funeral Home Church (701 S Broadway St, Church Point, LA 70525).
