He is survived by: his children, Lindsey Halley (Terry) of Lafayette, Penny Chavis (Winthrop) of Church Point, Jean Kaye Duplechain of Church Point, Roger Lloyd Duplechain of Church Point and Joseph Kenny Duplechain (Dana) of Opelousas; his brothers, Joseph "Butler" Duplechain of Houston, TX, Wallace Duplechain (Mary) of Church Point and Raymond Duplechain (Julia) of Opelousas; his sisters-in-law, Gladys Carrier of Church Point, Margaret LaDay of Church Point and Betty Batiste of Church Point; his aunt Lorita Hawkins of Church Point; his grandchildren, Tamra, Mia, Micah, Michael, Winthrop II, Reginald, Desiree, Tiera, Joseph Jr., Paige Howard and Josiah; and his great grandchildren, Malijah and Noah. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, Godchildren.
