She was predeceased by: her husband Havard Thibodeaux; her parents, Alex Matte and Elia Matte; her son-in-law Gilford Doucet; and her siblings, Allen Matte, Rosabelle Matte, Eldine Richard, Genevieve Sonnier and Joyce Prejean.
She is survived by: her children, Robert "Bobby" Thibodeaux (Vicki) of Abbeville, LA, Glen Thibodeaux (Keena) of Church Point, Jeff Thibodeaux (Karen) of Branch, LA, JoAnn Credeur (Rodney), Sandy Bellard (Pat) and Bonnie Bergeron (Dale) of Opelousas. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, forty-six great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
