He is survived by: his children, Alyce Nicole (Jeremy Laborde) of Saline, Damon Richard of Mire, Brad (Lindsay Richard) of Walker and Neal (Sarah Richard) of Spring, TX; his siblings, Charlene (John Hanks) of Church Point, Cherel Broce of Church Point, David (Dana Richard) of Church Point and Johnny (Lee Richard) of Lawtell; his grandchildren, D. J., Devyn, Hunter, Hayden, Hayli, Nolan and Norah; and his great grandchildren, Rowan, Kaice and Donovan.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Duhon Funeral Home Church (701 S Broadway St, Church Point, LA 70525). A rosary was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:15 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church (6110 Mire Hwy, Church Point, LA 70525).
