He was predeceased by: his father Russell J. Thibodeaux, Sr.. He is survived by: his daughter Kaitlyn Hope Thibodeaux of Duson; his mother Sandra M. Thibodeaux of Church Point; his brother Russell J. Thibodeaux, Jr. (Jamie) of Youngsville; his close friend Sarina Hart of Duson; and his godmother Peggy (J. Y. Thibodeaux) of Church Point. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and nieces and nephews.
