He was predeceased by: his wife Joycelyn Lavergne; his mother Louise Castille Lavergne; his son Kendall Lavergne; and his son-in-law Jim Cormier. He is survived by: his children, Twila Cormier of Church Point and Donald Lavergne of Columbia, MS; his grandchildren, Jenny, Jeff, David Cormier, Sarah "Beth" Carriere, Matthew Lavergne, Tyler Noecker and Sarah Anne Froehlick; his great grandchildren, Morgan, Hayden, Blair and Macie Carriere; and his siblings, Beverly Richard and Arthur Lavergne.
