He was predeceased by: his wife Thelma Carolyn Sagona; his daughter Tina Sagona; and his parents, Joseph Sagona and Margherita Vutera Sagona. He is survived by: his children, Jimmy (Lisa Sagona) of Denham Springs and Carolyn Shiver of Ville Platte; his grandchildren, James (Virginia Shiver), John Ross Sagona, Alise (Brian Williams), Tony Sagona and Brennan Johnson; his great grandchildren, Sydney, Brianna, Ava, Kali Shiver and Riley Sagona; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Anna and Nicholas Drago.
