It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Lucien Meche (Church Point, Louisiana), who passed away on August 30, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Loma Gary Meche; his son Cleter J. Meche; his grandson Jamie Hanks; his parents, Lucien Meche and Ella LeBlanc Meche; and his siblings, Virginia M. Thibodeaux, Evelle M. Martin, Cyprien Meche, Cleter Meche, Ivy Meche, Freddie Meche, Delton Meche, Felton Meche, Davie Meche and Leo Meche.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marlene Meche Hanks (Kurt) of Scott and Roxanne Meche Alleman of Scott; his grandchildren, Kelly Campbell, Joshua Privat, Mikie Hanks and Matthew Meche; his great grandchildren, Lucien Hanks and Leon Privat; and his sisters-in-law, Catherine Meche, Bulsey Mire (Donald) and Sable Meche. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
