He was predeceased by: his wife Dot Wimberley (McBride); his son Girard "Jerry" Wimberley; his son-in-law Gerard Barousse; his great grandchild Rhett Wimberley; his parents, May Wimberley (Bourque) and Irvin "Noon Noon" Wimberley; his siblings, Roderick and Mattie Wimberley; and his in-laws, Harry and Myrtle McBride (Rasberry).
He is survived by: his children, Rachel Wimberley, Jessica Barousse, D'Lane Thomas (Gabe) and Mitchel Wimberley (Stacy); his daughter-in-law Robyn Wimberley; his siblings, Bobby Wimberley (Pearl), Bill Wimberley (Estelle), Dale Wimberley (Helen), Linda Brouillette (George) and Ann Latiolais (Terry); and his sister-in-law Guinny Wimberley. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
