He is survived by: his wife Kayla McBroom of Church Point; his children, James McBroom, Jr. of Church Point, Tierra Northcutt of Rayne, LA and Mesha McBroom of Church Point; his mother-in-law Sandra Franks of Monroe, LA; and his close friend Ernestine Bellard of Church Point.
