He is survived by: his daughters, Nichole Duplechain (Willary), Shameka Chachere (Medgar) and Jatara Jenkins; his stepchildren, Jamaul Joseph Senegal, Rockelle Mayfield and Jada Mayfield; his sisters, Leanna Gray, Marie Guidry, Cheryl Booker, Sandra Stevens, Brenda Nelson, Patricia Landry Nelson, Rosana Nelson, Bridgette Carriere and Victoria Nelson; his godchildren, Gene Malbrough and Joseph Lee Batiste, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Willary Duplechain, John Duplechain, Jamarcus Moore, Keyshawn Moore, Meagan Simmons and Tyler Simmons. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
