She is survived by: her children, Derrick Handy of Church Point, LA, Shawn Brown of Church Point, LA, Schawanda Brown of Houston, TX and Travis Handy of Iota, LA; and her siblings, Jesse Handy (Dot) of Lafayette, LA, Paul Handy of Church Point, LA, Donnie Handy (Carrol), Elizabeth Williams (Edward) of Opelousas, LA and Mary Charlot (Ray) of Church Point, LA. She is also survived by five grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
