He is survived by: his brother Kenneth Matte of Church Point; his sister-in-law Clara B. Matte of Church Point; his aunt Joyce Matte of Opelousas, LA; his cousin Judy Matte Ortego of Opelousas; his godchild Charisse Matte (John Guidry); his nephew Jessie Matte; his great-niece Leah Guidry; his great-nephews, Taylor Comeaux and Tate Guidry; and also Thomas Guidry. He is also survived by his extended family and friends.
