He is survived by: his children, Patricia Daigle (Tony), Ernest Hessler, III (Brenda), Diane Hessler (late Terry Knitt) and Richard Hessler (Karen); his grandchildren, Crystall St. Marie (Stacy), Vanessa Coroy, Marlana Daigle, Amanda Massingill (Richard), Brittany Hendricks (Tim), Dyllon Himber (Monique), Tyler Himber, Candace Esta (Jason), Alysa Middleton (Kyle), Amanda Knitt, TJ Knitt (Megan) and RJ Hessler (Natalie); and his sister Zita Hessler Doll. He is also survived by twenty-nine great grandchildren.
