With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edwin D. Rogers of Church Point, Louisiana, who passed away on October 1, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ella Mae Rogers; his parents, Joseph Rogers and Larenza Johnson; his daughter Juara Wilson; and his siblings, Joseph Rogers, Jr., Geneva Duplechain, Mona Charlot, Leola Charlot and Genora Meche.
He is survived by: his children, Danny Rogers (Florence) of Church Point, Sherman Rogers (Peggy) of Branch, Daffeny Francis (Danny) of Church Point and Monica Rogers of Port Barre; and his siblings, Walter Rogers of Baker, Thersa Bellard of Church Point and Nelda Joseph (Dalton) of Lafayette. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
