He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Kellie Renee Carriere; his parents, Saul Carriere and Eva H. Carriere; and his siblings, Eva Ortego, Mary Daigle, Joseph "Joe" Carriere and Herbert Carriere.
He is survived by: his spouse Rita S. Carriere of Church Point; his son Glenn "Bubba"; his wife Linda Carriere of Crowley; his daughters, Peggy (Kim Henry) of Church Point, Faye Carriere Guidry of Church Point and Kathy (Leonard Launey) of Iota; his siblings, Ursuline "Shoon" Venable of Avondale, Dorothy Carriere of Lafayette, Audrey Matte of Church Point, Mildred Bourque of Lawtell and Robert Dale Carriere of Avondale; his grandchildren, Kevin Carriere, Kaesha Carriere, Lacey Noel and Brooke Guidry; and his great grandchild Reese Scott Carriere.
