He is survived by: his mother Ethel Huval Lapoint of Lafayette, LA; his daughters, Leah Lapoint Savoy (Matthew) and Lori Lapoint Sonnier (Brent); and his siblings, Wayne Lapoint (Maxine), David Lapoint (Lynn), Linda Lapoint Webb of Lafayette and Elizabeth Lapoint Gerard (Mike) of Milton, LA. He is also survived by grandchild, "Baby Savoy" and his extended family and friends.
