She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Sagona and Thelma M. Sagona; and her sister Tina Johnson. She is survived by: her son James (Virginia Shiver) of Ville Platte; her husband James Shiver, Sr. of Ville Platte; her grandchildren, Sydney, Brianna, Ava, Kali, Anna, Nicolas, Stephanie and Colby; her brother Jimmy (Lisa Sagona) of Baton Rouge; and her nieces and nephews, Danielle, John Ross, Tony and Brennan.
