She was predeceased by: her husband Armogene Matte; her grandson Randy James; her great grandchild Tyler; her parents, Leo Bourque and Agnes Cormier Bourque; and her siblings, Leona Lanclos, Dora Jagneaux, Louis, Leon, William and Val Bourque.
She is survived by: her children, Jay Matte (Lavinia Latiolais) of Opelousas, Dale (Bridgette Matte) of Port Barre, Nolan (Frances Matte) of Rayne, Geneva (Larry Bearb) of Lafayette, Patricia (Ricky Royer) of Lawrenceville, GA, Madeline (Daniel Boone) of Scott, Elaine Benard (Gary Hardy) of Opelousas and Odelia (Ricky Leger) of Sunset; and her grandchildren, Chris, Danielle, Kelly, Stacy, Bridget, Chad, Angela, Sarah, Savannah, Erica, Aggie, Nathan, Joshua, Christian, Toni, Kimberly, Casey and Coutney. She is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.
