She was predeceased by: her husband Victor Childs; her parents, Warren Carrier and Evangeline Marie Carrier; and her siblings, Thomas Murphy Carrier, Floyd Carrier, Roy Carrier, Charles Carrier, James Carrier, Joelene Wiliams and Irene Carrier.

She is survived by: her sons, James Clark (Patricia) of Church Point, LA, Monte Carrier (Tammy) of Houston, TX, Tommy Childs of Houston, TX and Lucas Childs of Houston, TX; and her sisters, Laura Carrier of Church Point, LA and Linda Carrier of Houston, TX. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
