She was predeceased by: her parents, Emery Leger and Hilda Leger; her sons, Christopher Gene Guidry and John Guidry; her grandson Brennan Guidry; her sister Patsy Reinis; and her sister-in-law Normadine Leger.
She is survived by: her husband Gene Guidry of Carencro; her daughter Michelle Dugas of Carencro; her siblings, Judy Istre of Crowley and Hilton Leger of Scott; and her grandchildren, Kristen Dugas, Alysha Arceneaux (Chris), Blake Dugas, Brayden Dugas, Megan Guidry and Casey Guidry. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 9:00 AM. A rosary was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel of Church. A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (114 Bienvenu St, Church Point, LA 70525).
