It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barousse Oakley Matte (Church Point, Louisiana), who passed away on January 19, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Lee and Margaret Briscoe Barousse. She is survived by: her children, Joe Oakley (Lizz) of Church Point and Carmen Oakley of Texarkana, TX; her sister Cassandra Barousse Robinson (Robert) of Lawtell, LA; and her grandchildren, Gavin Joseph Oakley, Margaret Kay Cranford and Gracie Elizabeth Oakley. She is also survived by her extended family and friends.
