She was predeceased by: her daughter Pauline Prather Johnson; her grandson Benjamin Guidry; her parents, Renis LeBouef and Nora C. LeBouef; and her siblings, Irene Manuel, Delores Vizena and Belvin LeBouef.
She is survived by: her husband James "Jimmy" Edward Prather of Church Point; her daughters, Paula Prather Guidry of Opelousas and Paulette P. (Douglas Johnson) of Church Point; and her sisters, Marjorie Sonnier of Jennings and Jane Chapman of Iota. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren.
