He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Helen Chrisman and Harold Parnell; his wife Joyce Parnell; his sons, Kenny Parnell (Beverly), Rick Parnell (Katie) and Bobby Parnell (Lexie); his grandchildren, Amber, Victoria and William; his great grandchildren, Luke and Audrey; his siblings, Jean (James White), Louise Greenstock, Becky (HJ Lowery), Layne Parnell (Rosemary) and Harold Parnell (Sharon); his grandsons, Aaron Parnell and Adam Parnell; his nephews, Eric Parnell and James Hicks; his great-nephew Nick White; and his cousin David Chrisman. He was also cherished by family members and lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to New Hope Baptist Cemetery, New Hope Baptist Church, or Ruston American Legion.
