He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Boyd, Sr. and Vada Lee Decker Boyd; and his brother H. P. Boyd, Jr.. He is survived by: his son Clay Boyd (Frances) of Downsville, LA; his grandchildren, Caleb Boyd, Phoenix Sullivan and Lilly Boyd; his son Cody Boyd of Texarkana, TX; and his sisters, Sherri Kessler (Jim) of Choudrant, LA and Kristina Kassab (Greg) of Choudrant, LA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
