He was predeceased by: his parents, Emily Duren Watts and Otha R. Watts; his brother Otha Watts (Gary); his cousin Kathy Slavant; and his great-nephew John Clarke Perry.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Watts; his children, Joe D. Watts (Stacie), Tim D. Watts (Rebecca), Tony Williams (Tiffany) and Amy D. Ates (Alan); and his grandchildren, Clay Watts, Caleb Watts, Carson Watts, Luke Watts, Lauren Watts, Audrey Herrington (Allen), Rebecca Gates (Kelley), Kali Brewer (Chanse), Zeb Ates, Olivia Williams, Maddison Ritchie, Kaleb Ritchie, Kaden Ritchie, Myka Brewer, David and Sherry Lane. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
