In loving memory of Jo Margaret Smith of Choudrant, Louisiana, who departed this world on April 23, 2025 at the age of 69. Jo Margaret leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence James Terry and Rieta Inez Hogan Terry; and her granddaughter Catherine Pesnell. She is survived by: her daughters, Leah Lord (Troy Lord) and Cori Pesnell (Thomas Alayan); her grandchildren, Logan Lord, Lucas Lord, Chasidy Pesnell and Brittany Norred (Phillip Norred); her great grandchild Elizabeth Norred; her sister Jane Keener (Bill Keener); her nieces, Laura Kent and Teresa Jones; and her pet Lilly Bell. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Owens Memorial Chapel (2300 W California Ave, Ruston, LA 71270).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Jo Margaret's honor.
