He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Carl and Minnie Alice Ellington Rodgers; his children, Bryan Rodgers and Rebecca Rodgers; his siblings, Carlton Rodgers, Jr., Bobby Rodgers, Ted Rodgers, Fred Rodgers, Claudine Rodgers, Gloria Jean Rodgers Grandy and Clydus Jerry; and his granddaughter Kelsie Willis.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Rodgers; and his children, Jackie Rodgers, Jr. (Leilani), Joey Rodgers (Michelle), Josh Rodgers (Amber), Stephanie Henry (Tony) and Heather Cole (Jesse). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; two grand dogs; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Farrar Funeral Home (312 Smith St, Farmerville, LA 71241). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
