He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Poole Sr. and Vera Aura Lampkin Grigsby; and his siblings, Earnest Grigsby, Eugene Grigsby, Chester Grigsby, Jr., Elaine Pesnell, Yvonne Goss, Ellon Nelson and Geraldine Veatch.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Ferguson Grigsby; his children, Jeff Grigsby (Nancy) of Midland, Kara Grigsby of Choudrant, LA, Lee Evelyn Tannehill of Ruston, LA and Charlotte Tannehill Boone of Greensboro; his grandchildren, Austin Grigsby (Jamie) of Houston, Kirby Grigsby of Houston, David Cade Grigsby (Molly) of Denver, Bradley Kosh of San Diego, Sara Kosh of Choudrant, LA, Hollis Grigsby of Midland and William Boone of Greensboro; his great grandchildren, Ryley Rials, Ruth Rials of Choudrant, LA and Emery Kate Grigsby of Houston; and his sister Sue Horton (Paul) of Shreveport. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
