She was predeceased by: her husband William Lewis Mott, III; her parents, James Percy Hoyt and Susan Blackwell Hoyt; her siblings, Ollie Hoyt Voorhies, Faye Hoyt Guinn, James Percy and Hines Wilbur [Bill] Hoyt; and her son-in-law Richard George Odom.
She is survived by: her daughter Janet Kay Moriarty [Richard]; her grandchildren, Jennifer Odom White and Richard Travis Odom [Shanti]; her stepgrandchildren, Richard Moriarty, Jr., Mary Moriarty Branch and Cullen Kramer Moriarty [Kelly]; and her great grandchildren, Samuel Travis Odom, Isaac Marc Odom, Judah David Odom, Shelbie Alexis Moriarty and Lydia Townsend Branch. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
