He was predeceased by: his sons, Robert Brice McCann and Lee Rutledge McCann; his parents, Kerrie McCann and Thelma Maddox McCann; his brother Horace McCann; and also, Earl Rutledge and Gladys Rutledge.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Rutledge McCann of Cheneyville; his children, Brad McCann (Shana) of Lake Charles and Mary Lynn Bounds (Patrick) of Sulphur; his sister Hazel McNutt of Cheneyville; his grandchildren, Clint Benoit (Jackie), Jordan McCann, Rhett McCann, Jacob McCann, Katie McCann, Brice Bounds and Olivia Bounds; and his great grandchildren, Victoria Benoit and Jason Benoit.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Children's Methodist Home, 904 Deville Lane, Ruston, LA 71270.
