He was predeceased by: his wife Cynthia LeBlanc Lirette; his parents, Armand "Sue" Lirette and Lula Mae Theriot Lirette; his in-laws, Elward "Doll" LeBlanc and Anna Mae Pellegrin LeBlanc; his siblings-in-law, Carl "Courage" LeBlanc and Tammy LeBlanc Trahan; and his godson Daniel "Lil Danny" Lirette Jr..
He is survived by: his daughters, Jill Unbehagen (Wade) and Carrie Neal (Tommie Jr.); his grandchildren, Kenadee, Junior, Unbehagen and Zackary; his pet Unbehagen; his brother Daniel "Danny" Lirette Sr. (Norma "Peanie"); his siblings-in-law, Romona Picou, Vickie Bradley, Cynthia "Cindy" LeBlanc and Charles Trahan Jr.; his goddaughter Jenny Johnson; and his pets, Finn, Allie, Reaux and Milo "MoMo". He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Family Youth Center. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In keeping with Pete's loving and generous spirit, it was his decision to donate life so that others may live. He was known as a giving person and even in death, his giving continues as his organ donation will touch the lives of others.
