He is survived by: his children, Sterling Pitre Jr. (Maureen), Vicky Naquin (James), Peggy Pitre, Donna Boquet (Alton), Robin Boquet (Bryan) and Terri Dupre (Tommy); his siblings, Blake Pitre (Juanita), Kenneth Pitre and Connie Vigurie; and his former wife Ruth Pitre. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
