He was predeceased by: his wife Bertha Dupre Lyons; his daughter-in-law Veronica Lyons; his great grandchild Brittany Lapeyrouse; his great great grandchild Ayden Lapeyrouse; his parents, Vanis Lyons and Beaulah Guidry Lyons; and his siblings, Emily "Toot" Naquin, Delores "Sue" Ledet, Willie "Bill" Lyons, Wilber Lyons, Lawrence Lyons, Albert "Nupee" Lyons, Beverly Domangue and Russell Lyons.
He is survived by: his children, Wanda Brien, Susan Peltier (Rodney), Sidney T. Lyons Jr. and Scott D. Lyons; his brother Walter Lyons; and his grandchildren, Lance Lapeyrouse, Lee Peltier, Jake Peltier, Andrew Lyons and Heidi Lyons. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
