We are sad to announce that on August 4, 2018, at the age of 84, Shirley Mae Duplantis (Chauvin, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Agnolia Neil and Ernest Blanchard Sr.; and her sisters, Baby Girl Blanchard, Euela Blanchard and Mary Blanchard.

She is survived by: her husband Alfred Duplantis Sr.; her sons, Allen Duplantis (Suzie) and Alfred J. Duplantis Jr.; her wife Lori; her daughters, Shirley D. Dupre and Bobbie Jo D. Lirette (Doug); and her brother Robert "Bobby" Blanchard (Shira). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 2 grandson in laws; 3 granddaughter in laws; 11 great grandchildren.
