She was predeceased by: her husband Hosea McKay Sr.; her parents, Octave Lagarde and Lucinda Lagarde; her son Hosea McKay Jr.; her siblings, Ellis, Albert, Roosevelt Lagarde, Camille Frye, Rosedell Warren, Vermillia Green, Mildred Williams and Anita Wheaton; her grandchildren, Trevor O and Lorenzo McKay; and her great grandchild Quindre Hayes.

She is survived by: her children, Lloyd McKay (Joyce), Stella Butler (Nick), Ann Williams, Doniver McKay and Terry McKay (Sharlita); and her daughter-in-law Claudette McKay. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
