It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Authement Foret of Chauvin, Louisiana, who passed away on February 2, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Eldon Sr. (Sant); her children, Timmy Foret, Chris Foret and Belinda Foret; her great grandchild Destiny Pellegrin; her son-in-law Scotty Lirette; her parents, Alphones Authement and Onezia Authement; and her siblings, AJ Authement Jr., Huey, Eugene, Calvin, Ivy, Horace Authement, Evans Thibodaux, Emily Voisin, Aileen Duplantis, Audrey Hebert, Gertrude Tivet and Gladys Domanque.
She is survived by: her children, Eldon Jr. (Ju Jun), Don Foret (Michelle), Kathy Lirette and Kate Antee (Chris); and her grandchildren, Christy Theriot (Curt), Angie Landry (Shane), Jamie Verdin (Nathan), Ron Antee (Brandi), Shantell Thomas (Earl), Hannah Holley, Jessica Avet (Ben), Belinda Foret, Tyler Lirette (Kayla) and David Foret (Debbie). She is also survived by 32 grandkids.
