He is survived by: his close friend Geraldine "Jerri" Pack; his children, Randa Smith (David), Traci Bergeron (Hollins), Trina Portier (Edward Whitney) and Luby P Pinell, Jr.; and his sisters, Betty Prosperie and Belinda Prosperie (Tony). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
