She was predeceased by: her husband Carroll James Fanguy; her sons, Carroll J., Jr. and James; her parents, Clairville Pierre and Nora Boquet Matherne; her stepmother Belle Matherne; and her siblings, Francis "Purpy", Hilman "Buster", Ray Matherne, Hilda Breaux, Elaine Orgeron and Lydia "Lee" LeBlanc.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy "Tim" J. Fanguy (Trina) and Mary F. Neil (Stephen); her siblings, Terral Matherne, Sr., Marie LeBouef and Carolyn Matherne; and her grandchildren, Andrea N. Boudreaux (Brandon), Allison N. Rousse (Adam), Ashley N. Neil (Ryan), Jordan E. Fanguy (Dylan) and Julian C. Fanguy (Tyler). She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
