She was predeceased by: her husband Leon Firmature Sr.; her parents, Mack Thibodaux and Emma Prevost Thibodaux; her siblings, Ambrose, Herbert, Eddie Thibodaux and Judy T. Lirette; and her brothers-in-law, Anthony Firmature, Michael Guidry and Reynold Naquin.

She is survived by: her children, Lena Marie, Leon Jr., Lynn (Barbara Eschete Firmature), Lisa and Lillian Firmature; her grandchildren, Kasey (Nathan Boudwin), Krista Firmature and Aaron Yarmush; her great grandchildren, Evan Boudwin and Athena Firmature; and her siblings, Bernita Mary Guidry, Gayle Naquin, Jeanne (Anthony Carrere), Susan (Donald Gautreaux) and Albert (Myra Thibodaux). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and close family friends.
