He is survived by: his wife Patricia Griffin LeCompte; his children, Wayne LeCompte (Jeanette), Kenneth "Kenny" LeCompte (Tiffany) and Christy Duplantis (Shayne Sr.); his grandsons, Shayne Duplantis Jr. (Brittanie), Seth Lovell (Kristian), Daniel LeCompte, Jacob LeCompte and Evan LeCompte; and his sisters, Mona Whitney (James Jr.) and Veronica Dupre (Arthur).
