It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John McElroy Sr. (Chauvin, Louisiana), who passed away on April 3, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Errol; his parents, Leona and Thaddeus McElroy, Sr.; and his brothers, Thaddeus, Jr., George, Sr. and J. B..
He is survived by: his sons, Burt (Lizbeth) of Houma, Wayne (Myrthe) of Houma, Baird (Hazel) of Houma, Jude (Katina) of Houma and Keith (Susan) of Houston; his brothers, David of Houma and Hugh of Colorado; and his grandchildren, Jill McElroy Friedman, Andria McElroy Stewart, Summer McElroy Ferreira, Dustin McElroy, Benjamin McElroy, Julie McElroy Hall, John McElroy, Jeffrey McElroy, Trey Price, Derek McElroy, Jade Trahan, Jessica McElroy and Dexter McElroy.
