It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grace Chauvin of Chauvin, Louisiana, who passed away on June 24, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustave Pellegrin and Eula Blanchard Pellegrin; her sister Rena; her parents-in-law, Dewey and Lucretia Chauvin; and her siblings-in-law, Ray LeCompte, Henry "Brazoo" Chauvin (Beulah) and Lois Portier (Clovis).
She is survived by: her husband Ferrel Chauvin; her children, Marlyn Chauvin (JoAnn), Glenn Chauvin (Tammy), Peter Chauvin (Amelia), Mary Brunet (Burt) and Pamela Lyons (Albert); her sisters, Betty LeCompte and Carolyn Dupre (Floyd); her brother-in-law D. J. (Lucy Chauvin); and her grandchildren, Becky Hebert (Aaron), Myles Brunet (Monique), Hunter Brunet (Beth), Ronnie Chauvin (Melissa), Tracy Chauvin (Ty), Craig Chauvin (Candace), Jamie Bourg (Jordy), Chancey Chauvin (Amber), Cindy Sibley (David), Katie Chauvin, Lynsie Dupre (Jeff), Cody Lyons and Madison. She is also survived by eighteen loving great grandchildren.
