She was predeceased by: her husband Elden Authement, Sr.; her son Elden "Buddy" Authement, Jr.; her granddaughter Brittany Authement; her parents, James LeBlanc and Agnes Blanchard LeBlanc; and her siblings, Norris LeBlanc, Sr., Reggie LeBlanc and Brenda Navarre.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Authement Doss (Kevin) and Shiela Authement Naquin (Bobby); her grandchildren, Stephanie Martin (Cody), Lauren Martin (Billy), Krista Doss (Dusty), Haley Landry (Tony), Amber Lambas (Dustin), Aileen Adams (Josh) and Isaac Naquin (Robbin); and her sister Mary Naquin. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (5232 LA-56, Chauvin, LA 70344). A Mass was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
