It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elgin Leblanc of Chauvin, Louisiana, born in Montegut, Louisiana, who passed away on September 19, 2020, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luke LeBlanc Jr. and Ruth Leonard Bourg; his stepfather Dewey Bourg; his brother David LeBlanc; and his grandparents, Evelia Chaisson, Luke LeBlanc Sr., Celestine Bertrand LeBlanc, Antoine Leonard and Bridgette Pontiff Leonard.
He is survived by: his daughter Kourtney Pinell (Jon Jr.); his siblings, Elie Blanchard Sr., Richard LeBlanc (Susie), Paul LeBlanc (Libby), Michael LeBlanc (Elsie), Marilyn Picou (Milton Sr.), Darlene Rodrigue (Ray), Olanda Saltzman (Rodney) and Arlene Ford (Aaron); his grandchildren, Owen Pinell and Linken Pinell; his pet Nyssa; his godfather Herbert "Cutty" Leonard; and his godchildren, Shane LeBlanc and Destiny Rodrigue. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
