He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Lirette Fanguy; his daughter-in-law Karleen Fanguy; his parents, Volcar Fanguy and Eula Thibodeaux Fanguy; and his brother Arnold Joseph Fanguy.
He is survived by: his children, Elrin "Peanut" Fanguy Jr., Lee Fanguy Sr. (Penny), Myra Pellegrin (Lee) and Elrena Martinez (Jody); and his half-brother Thomas Dieter Brunet. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
